After earning a Bachelor’s in Geology and Environmental Studies from the University of Tennessee, Jonathan transitioned to stormwater services, gaining expertise in maintaining stormwater systems like detention basins and biofiltration systems.

As a Senior Geologist at Tennessee Stormwater Services, Jonathan leads projects in Stormwater Control Measures (SCM) Inspection and Maintenance, Detention Basin Cleaning and Maintenace, Streambank Repair, and Water Quality Buffers. He holds his Level I, Level 2, and SCM Inspection and Maintenace Certifications. As an avid fly fisher, he is dedicated to protecting water resources and promoting sustainable urban development across Tennessee to ensure future generations can enjoy our waterways.
